Instructor: Monica Schraiber Otero
Monica Schraiber Otero received a BA in Art from Rutgers University, Newark College of Arts and Sciences with a concentration in oil painting and she has taught PreK-Grade 12 Art since 1991. At high school level, Mrs. Otero taught elective courses in Drawing, Painting, 2-D and 3-D Design, Ceramics, Graphic Design. She teaches Drawing and Painting classes at WAC, is the Director of the Summer Art Camp, and curates the Children’s Juried Art Exhibition each year. As a professional artist, Mrs. Otero has shown her work in NYC and many venues throughout NJ. She was a member of AENJ (Art Educators of NJ) and the Contemporary Art Group where she served on the Board of Directors.

Drawing Enrichment Workshop (Ages 6-11)
Young artists working develop their natural ability, improve their skills and explore new techniques as they learn the fundamentals of Drawing.
Students discover a variety of wet and dry media such as pencil, charcoal, oil and chalk pastels as well as watercolors while they sketch, shade, use perspective and the color wheel. Projects created from life and the imagination include portraits, landscapes, still life drawings, optical illusions and more!
Please bring a smock, apron or a large shirt and a nutritious snack
Fees:
Fall – (10 Classes) – $200 Tuition plus $25 to cover supplies
Winter (11 Classes) – $200 Tuition plus $25 to cover art supplies.
NOTE! Anyone signing up for less that 10 sessions will pay $20 per class and a one time $20 art supply fee.
Spring (9 Classes) – $170 Tuition plus $25 to cover art supplies.
NOTE! Anyone signing up for less that 8 sessions will pay $20 per class and a $20 one time art supply fee.
Payment: Payment can be made by check or online. A service fee will be charged for online payment.
Supply Kit: The supply kit will include all materials necessary for participants to create the projects.

IMPORTANT DISCOUNT! All students returning from any other art session signing up for future sessions will get a 10% discount on the number of classes you sign up for.

Drawing Registration and Payment
If you are registering for any class for the first time for this year (prior years do not matter), please choose the green “Registration and Payment” button.
If you have already registered for this year’s class and are only looking to make a payment, choose the red “Online Payment Only” button.
Anyone who does not submit payment following their registration is NOT considered registered and will not be added to the class roster until payment is complete.
