Submission is only $20 for up to 5 images. Artist whose artwork is voted ‘the best’ of this show will be awarded $100.
Eligibility – all artwork that speaks of or relates to ideas of love and caring. With Valentine’s Day on February 14, it’s always a good time to remind people of the many ways that love expresses itself. Works can be abstract or representational or a combination including photography, collage, mixed media, etc. All works must be designed to be wall hung with a wire. Any works without a wire on the back will be rejected. No sawtooth hangers, d-rings, etc as hangers will be accepted. All works must be ready to be hung. Sorry, no sculpture or floor/free-standing work.

A submission does not guarantee inclusion in the exhibit. The Center staff determine which works are included. Works are reviewed for relevance to the exhibit. Artwork which violates the Center’s policies with regards to violence and/or sexual content will not be accepted.
Submission deadline, December 29th, 6pm Eastern time
Fee – submission fee is $20 for up to 5 works. Not all works will be accepted. Works will be accepted at the discretion of the judges. Any work whose subject is considered controversial due to its overt sexual, violent or politically charged nature may result in exclusion from the exhibit.
Deadline – Submission deadline, December 29th, 6pm Eastern time
Submissions – all works are submitted online as jpgs with a minimum resolution of 750 pixels on the shortest dimension. All submissions must be emailed to wacenter@optonline.net. The email subject should read, “LOVE exhibit”. Only jpegs and png files accepted. Each image should be titled with image title, artists’ name and size. (Example: Love-Robert Indiana-60x72inches). Maximum size for artwork is 48″ on the longest dimension. All works must be designed to be wall hung with a wire. Any works without a wire on the back will be rejected. No sawtooth hangers, d-rings, etc as hangers will be accepted. All works must be ready to be hung. Frames are not necessary as long as the work has a wire on the back and is properly supported.
Delivery dates for artwork –
January 7, 10, 12, 2023 – 11 am to 1pm.
The works will be juried by the curator along with a select group of artists. The artist whose work is voted the ‘best in show’ for its quality and image will win $100. The award will be given at the reception on Sunday, January 15, 2022 between 2 – 4pm.
